On one of the hottest days of summer, the Advantis team traded in their PR and marketing thinking caps for sailors’ hats! We boarded a boat and toured parts of the Toronto waterfront and its islands as part of a team excursion. At a scorching 30+ C, we braved the humidity and soaked up the sun until it set.
One of the best parts (aside from the company and food of course) was seeing the Toronto skyline from Lake Ontario! We’ve all seen postcards of it, but nothing compares to being there in person, surrounded by the elements. It’s a pretty neat experience (especially at night) and definitely something to see at some point whether you live in the city or not.
See for yourself! Check out some of the photos we took on Flickr.
Had a great time! Thank you so much. The view of Toronto by night is so much better from the water vs. the Gardiner.
As Sue said … “There is NOTHING–absolute nothing–half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats…”
